CHANGE

The most constant thing in life is CHANGE. Even the dead change (you could try if you want to find out). But why is it that many of us are afraid of change? Why do we love maintaining the status quo? Why do we love our comfort zone? Well i think it's because we are not given the opportunity of seeing the future(before it comes). Today is all we have, so we tend to remain as "maintenance officer" instead of CHANGE AGENTS. My advise:
Tomorrow will come whether we want it or not.
It's your decision what your tomorrow will look like.

If you dont make a decision, someone will give you one to work with(trust me, you dont want that).
Step out into the dark and embrace change. It's the only guarantee for the future.
You cant expect to get a different result tomorrow if you are using yesterday's techniques today. You've gotta be creative. It's not as easy as it sounds, but with practice, you'll be perfect.

THE SECRET TO GREAT DAYS (III)

“The exercise of writing and rewriting your goals everyday is one of the most powerful you will ever learn.”

Practice Daily Visualization
Calmly visualize your goal as a reality. Close your eyes, relax, smile, and see your goal as though it were already a reality. Rewrite your major goals everyday in the present tense. Rewrite them as though they already existed. Write "I earn X NAIRA." "I have a net worth of X." "I weigh a certain number of Kilogram." This exercise of writing and rewriting your goals everyday is one of the most powerful you will ever learn.

Great Day!

THE SECRET TO GREAT DAYS (II)

“The things that you do in the first hour prepare your mind and set you up for the entire day

Feed Your Mind With Positive Ideas
This is called the Golden Hour. The first hour sets the tone for the day. The things that you do in the first hour prepare your mind and set you up for the entire day. During the first thirty to sixty minutes, take time to think and review your plans for the future. If you wake up angry and remain angry for the next 30mins, it is sure you’ll have a BAD day all through…….Always wake up on the right side…..the right side is in your mind, not on the bed.

Great Day!

SUCCESS IS NOW

“Every successful man I have heard of has done the best he could with conditions as he found them, and not waited until the next year for better”

-Edgar Howe

Remember, Yesterday is History, Tomorrow is Future, but Today is a GIFT.

Today is all we have……do all you can Today, for Tomorrow no one knows…start NOW.

Have a great day!

INTEGRITY

“Real integrity is doing the right thing, knowing that nobody's going to know whether you did it or not”

-       Oprah Winfrey, talk-show host

Do what is right, whether it’s dark or not……

HOW TO WIN (II)

“As long as a person doesn't admit he's defeated, he is not defeated-he's just a little behind, and isn't through fighting”

-- Darrell Royal, football coach

Failure is a decision. Decisions are made in the mind. The state of your mind determines the quality of your decisions. The quality of your decisions is a factor of how developed your mind is. Great minds are known to be readers. Readers are Leaders. You start dying the moment you stop reading. Can you see how linked they all are?..........read, read, read..

The decision is yours.

Have A Fulfilled Day @ Work.

What Motivates You?

"If money is your hope for independence, you will never have it. The only real security that a man will have in this world is a reserve of knowledge, experience and ability. "

Key To Achievement

"I learned that we can do anything, but we can't do everything.. at least not at the same time. So think of your priorities not in terms of what activities you do, but when you do them. Timing is everything."
-- Dan Millman, Author

Recognize your priorities and do them. You may have to offend some people in the course of that. Never mind! People only associate with winners. Go for Gold, and everyone will come for you, even your greatest enemies.

Have a great day!

Cultivate The Attitude of Winning

If Columbus had turned back, no one would have blamed him. No one would have remembered him, either.

-- Anonymous
The truth is that nobody ever knows you are at the edge of success, but giving up at any point in time will xpose you. Only those who dont QUIT will WIN. Quiters never Win.

Always do all you can when you can, and follow it to a successful end. Never believe those who tell you it's IMPOSSIBLE(they actually dont know any better). Stand your ground and fight for your dream. No one would have blamed Colombus, butmore importantly, no one would have remembered him.

Have a great day!

Success

I read a quote recently and it blew my mind because most often we tend to forget or maybe we just are indifferent about life. It goes thus:

"A man with ability and the desire to accomplish something can do anything"
-- Donald Kircher
Did you see that? Everything we desire to accomplish in life can be made possible with just two ingredients- Ability & Desire. Period!
Ability is a function of continous learning and practice. Desire on the other hand is a function of inner processes(your Mind).

Determine today to succeed, and GO FOR IT!
Increase your knowledge and stretch your imagination.

You can achieve whatever you believe long enough.

Have a great day!

Success & Victory

"Victory often goes to the army that makes the least mistakes, not them most brilliant plans."
-- Charles de Gaulle, 18th President of the French Republic

Personal Management

Success in life is a product of a well-developed personal management attitude. Personal management on the other hand is better achieved by a good Time Management System. The way you use your time determines the results you get out of life.
Whether or not you're managing your time well is determined by the TASKS you embark upon. The importance/non-importance and/or urgency of the tasks you embark upon will determine how well you're managing your time, and thus the results(positive/negative) that you'll get.

Like Brian Tracy said in his book "GOALS", the most important word in determining the value of a particular task or activity is 'consequences'. A task that is valuable and important is a task that has serious consequences for completion or noncompletion. The greater the possible consequences of a task or activity, the more important it is.

A task for which there are few if any consequences is by definition not particularly important. Your aim in personal management, therefore, is to spend more time doing more of those tasks that can have the greatest possible consequences on your life and work.

PAUSE for a moment and think about how you have spent time in the few days this year has given!! How have you fared? However you have;if well, very good, but if not, then, it's never too late to start doing the right thing. START NOW! Plan your day, Plan your life.
Pursue those goals you've set for 2008. Be committed to them, be serious about them, and be disciplined enough to give it all that it requires to achieve every single one of them.

It's a great day. Go and Conquer Your World!

Determine To Succeed

The will to succeed is important, but the will to prepare is much more important.
